Get Involved – Volunteer with Friendswood Football!

Friendswood Football thrives thanks to the support of our incredible volunteers. There are many ways to contribute your time and talents throughout the year — whether you can help occasionally or want to get more involved, we have a place for you!

If you’re interested in volunteering, please indicate your interest when filling out the player contact information form and/or email us directly at [email protected].

Here are some of the ways you can help:

HOSPITALITY TEAM

• Provide meals for coaches (Friday game day breakfast or lunch)
• Deliver and set up food/drinks for referees by 5:15 PM at home games
• Saturday breakfasts for coaches

VOLUNTEER COORDINATORS

• Help gather volunteers for events and game days
• Use volunteer sign-up apps to organize participation
• Work begins in the spring to prepare for the season

EVENT COMMITTEE

Organize and support events like:

• Support A Stang
• Meet the Mustangs
• Team Banquet
• Homecoming Parade Dinner (led by junior parents)

HORSE HOOFS TEAM

• Coordinate volunteers to paint horse hoof prints at varsity players’ homes
• Organize supplies: paint, stencils, gloves, and car protection
• Divide painting assignments by neighborhood

TUNNEL CREW (at least 6 volunteers needed)

• Help maintain, transport, set up, take down, and clean the Mustang inflatable tunnel
• Manage tunnel trailer and storage

SOCIAL MEDIA COMMITTEE

• Post photos and share positive football content online

FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE

• Sell banners and assist with fundraising efforts throughout the season

TEAM DINNERS

• Coordinate weekly sign-ups and logistics for Varsity Team Dinners
